The vision for Triple “R” Gas began with the vision of a man deeply committed to his family, friends, and community. Rodney Walker’s dream was to create a legacy that would not only provide for his family during his lifetime but also secure their future in Tehama County. With the establishment of Triple “R” Gas, he was able to offer employment opportunities to his four children, fostering a family-oriented business. Involving his brother and father, Raymond, a seasoned propane bobtail driver of over fifty years, the foundation of a strong family business was set.

Originally named after three family members whose names all began with “R”, our company later embraced a new meaning for the three “R’s”:RAPID, REASONABLE, and RELIABLE - the pillars that shape our daily operations. For four decades, these principles have guided our unwavering commitment to exceptional service. Though Rodney left us in 1993 due to heart failure, our family business continues to thrive with the unwavering dedication from family and staff.
Today, our commitment to our community is stronger than ever, and we are honored to serve and grow alongside our neighbors. With five family members actively involved in the business, including a fourth-generation grandson, we are proud of the lasting legacy we are building. We take immense pride in being active participants and sponsors of local events, such as the Red Bluff Brew Battle, the Rodeo, and the Chili Cook-off. These festivities allow us to connect with our neighbors, share laughter, and create lasting memories together. With great honor we are pround to say that we've been a sponsor of the Tehama County Junior Livestock Auction for over 30 years.
